IEVA Student Day 2026 Set For April

The IEVA Student Day will take place next month | IEVA

The Irish Equine Veterinary Association (IEVA) Student Day will be held by the IEVA at the Irish National Stud, Co. Kildare, on Friday, April 3.

Specifically tailored for veterinary students, the day is now in its third year. The full-day programme covers a wide range of topics, including equine asthma, endocrine disease, laminitis, from both a veterinary and farriery perspective, examination of the placenta, field anaesthesia, and equine dentistry.

Speakers on the day include Sarah Ross, Sean Rooney, Bridget McGing, Carmel Welsh and Pat O'Sullivan. The day also includes lunch courtesy of the Japanese Garden Café and an opportunity to tour the Irish National Stud.
